Directions to the VentureCo Office
Arrival by Train
- Make sure you get the train to "Warwick" not "Warwick Parkway"
- Exit the station from the platform 1 side
- Walk down the road, following the incline downhill. There are plenty of taxis at the station if you don't fancy a 10 minute walk!
- At the junction with the A429 turn right (The Great Western pub will be on the left hand corner)
- 30 paces along the A429, on your right, you will see a tarmac footpath leading away across parkland, signposted "Warwick Nursery School"
- Turn right and follow the footpath which crosses a small steam and heads up a gentle incline
- Continue following the footpath, which bears left at the top of the incline, and you will see in front of you the tower of St Mary's church
- Stay on the footpath and you will see a redbrick wall on your left
- The tarmac ends; follow the line of the redbrick wall, staying on the footpath
- As you emerge from the park you will see "The Punch Bowl" (a pub) just ahead and the Police Station will be on your right
- With your back to the main entrance of the Police Station cross the busy six-way junction and turn left down North Gate Street
- St Mary's church is ahead of you and the Warwickshire Crown Court on your right
- Make your way to the church tower and, standing right beneath it, turn right into Old Square
- 75 meters along and turn left into New Street
- Walk to the end of New Street and at the T-junction, directly opposite, you will see "Dickinson's Period House Shop"
- Next to Dickinson's Period House Shop is Maxx Models and between the two is a narrow, covered alleyway
- Go down the alley and you will see a black iron, spiral staircase. VentureCo are at the top
Arrival by Car
- Parking in Warwick can be tricky: it's an old town designed for horse and cart rather than modern traffic! There is a fair amount of curb-side parking that allows a stay of one or two hours. There are also several centrally-located car parks.
- Where-ever you end up parking, the best landmark to aim for is the town museum, in the Market Square right in the center of town.
- With your back to the main entrance of the museum, you will see "Dickinson's Period House Shop" opposite, and slightly to the left.
- Next to Dickinson's Period House Shop is "Maxx Models" and between the two is a narrow, covered alleyway.
- Go down the alley and you will see a black iron, spiral staircase. VentureCo are at the top
