Of all the countries in Africa, Kenya receives the most criticism for poorly controlled National parks: images of dozens of jeeps surrounding a single lion. While this might have been a feature of certain operators, there are large tracts of land which are rarely visited and remain pristine conservation areas. Kenya is a superb country to visit – so long as you know the areas to avoid!
