.....and also the end of their adventure in South America. After 12 epic weeks in Peru, Bolivia, Chile and Argentina our first Patagonia Venture of 2008 finishes in Buenos Aires.
Starting in September with a language school in Cusco and following onto a volunteer project in the Andes Mountains the group gradually made their way South via Machu Picchu, Lake Titicaca and the Uyuni Salt flats. Their destination: Patagonia. Located at the very tip of South America and covering parts of both Argentina and Chile, Patagonia is a land of contrasting terrain, from the dramatic peaks of the Andes to the awe-inspiring glaciers. After the Torres del Paine trek the group reached Ushuaia, the southernmost city on earth before a flight to Buenos Aires. the cosmopolitan capital of Argentina.
Stay tuned for personal accounts of this unique adventure.
