Field Conditions
Where do we stay?:
- School or bunkhouse accommodation during Mpingo Project, Tanzania
- Camping in the Serengeti
- Bunkhouse accommodation during HISANI Project, Tanzania
- Camping whilst travelling on the expedition
- Family stay during the Kagando Project, Uganda
- Camping and mountain huts on Mount Kenya
- Camping on Mount Kilimanjaro
- All meals are provided from the Venture food budget and
will reflect the local flavours.
How do we get around?:
- Buses and pick ups in and around Moshi
- 4 x 4 Safari Land Rovers in the Serengeti
- Ferry across Lake Victoria
- Buses when travelling through Tanzania, Uganda and Kenya

- Safari in Tanzania
- Safari in Uganda
- White water rafting in Uganda
- Camel trekking in Kenya
- Mount Kenya climb
- Mount Kilimanjaro climb

Group Size:
- 8 to 16 Venturers.
- 2 VentureCo Leaders plus local guides and project co-ordinators.
Venture Safety
- Direct communication and UK head office backup.
- Major Incident Plan (MIP) rehearsed in our head office and tested.
- Following over 20 years of worldwide expedition experience we have a tried and tested network of local resources to call upon in times of trouble.
- Emergency evacuation and personal travel insurance: it’s crucial that everyone is covered. Our travel insurance providers are specialists who cover such events as the Paris-Dakar rally and round the world balloon attempts.
