Afterwards: Life can seem very tame when you return home from a place like South America. It's important to retain contact with your fellow Venturers to help put your travel experiences into context. VentureCo host an annual reunion party every September to help you achieve this. The event is open to all Venturers, past and present and is an important date in the social calendar! Thinking about onward travel? This Venture is a good introduction to travelling in South America so when it's all over, why not stay on and see a bit more? South America itself is a huge continent and countries like Peru, Bolivia, Argentina and Brazil are within easy reach of your Venture finish point. Further afield you can fly north to Central America and make use of your Spanish language skills in countries like Guatemala, Mexico and even Cuba! Airline connections are available to incorporate South America into a Round the World travel plan. VentureCo staff have explored all 11 countries in South America and all
7 countries in Central America. Call us to talk through your ideas and

Our
project is an in depth experience of life on San Cristobal island, now
it's time for a change of scene. We take to the high seas for eight days
to explore the rest of the archipelago. Boarding our 16 berth boat in
Puerto Ayora we set sail for the outlying islands, each with its own unique
species and each with its own story to tell. We sail with a qualified
naturalist guide who will help unravel the natural mysteries of the islands.
We are now far removed from the rest of the World. Under tropical skies
the sea is an inviting turquoise blue, the sandy beaches are brilliant
white, pink, black, and even green! The volcanic landscape is rugged and
extraordinary. Wandering among blue-footed boobies, iguanas, waved albatross,
Galapagos hawks, sea lions, giant tortoises and countless other species,
it is a nature lover's dream. There is also plenty of time to swim, relax,
explore the shoreline and snorkel amid underwater volcanic formations.
