Latin America stretched from the American border all the way to Patagonia. Spanish is spoken throughout the continent, and without it, a dimension is missing from your travel experience.

Learning Spanish in Latin America

Inca Venture, Inca & Amazon, Inca Summer Venture, Caribbean Jungle Venture and Patagonia Venture all include a total of 3 weeks intensive Spanish language tuition held in Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Mexico and Guatemala.

No habla español?
Learning Spanish is an obvious choice for those travelling to South and Central America, but did you know that worldwide, it is the next most widely spoken language after English and that by learning Spanish, you can communicate with another half-a-billion people?

An introductory two-week language course is the first element of the Venture and you’ll soon graduate from “dos cervezas por favor” to a confident conversational level. There is a further week’s language tuition after the mid-point of the Venture to build on what you have already learned. Tuition is either given to small groups of three to four Venturers of equal standard, or individually. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an advanced level speaker, your tutor will guide you along the path to proficiency.

Morning tutorials are mostly conversational, afternoons are spent getting face to face with the local culture and week-ends are free to explore the countryside or head down to the beach. After you have finished the language course, your involvement in daily life with the local people will continue to strengthen your confidence. You’ll find that it comes naturally and that you pick up an amazing amount very quickly.
