Two countries...one amazing adventure.
Your experience begins in the cobblestone streets of Quito before flying to the enchanted Galapagos Islands. Untouched by human civilisation until the early 19th century the Galapagos Islands are a natural paradise teeming with flora and fauna. As a volunteer you will help to eradicate invasive species introduced by man and in turn encourage endemic species to establish.
After two fulfilling weeks on the islands you will fly back to the mainland of Ecuador.

A short flight (not included) takes you to Cuzco, once the heart of the Inca empire. Spend two days in this fabulous city adjusting to the city's 3,400m altitude and discovering the mix of Spanish colonial-style architecture, Inca ruins and baroque churches.
We then embark on an alternative trek to the awesome Machu Picchu. The Salkantay trek is noted for its wide range of flora and fauna. This 5-day trek will take you at the base of the sacred snow capped Salkantay mountain, considered by local natives to be the "Guardian Spirit of the Jungle". Unlike other trails you will have the opportunity to experience remote native communities and the region's ecological biodiversity, before reaching the sanctuary of Machu Picchu. You will need a good dose of adrenaline as you hike to a pass of 4600 meters (15,000 feet). The trip is supported with horses for your convenience and we provide you with top quality camping equipment and an excellent balanced diet. Want a remote experience in the South America; then this trip is for you.
