Kwara Camp

Kwara Camp

The Kwara Concession

In the northern part of the Okavango, this 432,000 acres block of land borders Moremi Game Park: a huge area (bigger than Dartmoor and Exmoor combined) with ultra-light visitor numbers. It includes an unusually broad range of habitats: permanent rivers, secret islands, seasonal floodplains and open expanses of grassland lie within the boundaries, all of which ensures excellent year-round wildlife and bird populations. The flood season is early June to October.

The bedrooms are well-appointed but rustic; public areas are constructed around an open fire pit, which makes evenings cozy. This is a down-to-earth camp which suits guests who come to the Delta, first and foremost, for outstanding wildlife and a connoisseur’s safari experience.

This is one of the six sister camps that come within the Kwando umbrella. Kwando is a locally-owned (Batswana) organisation that is concerned with wildlife and creating top-notch safaris. Their camps are stylish and luxurious, but remain firmly focussed on offering the best safari experience. Venture Co has been working with Kwando for many years and the feedback we receive from clients is consistently outstanding; we don’t hesitate to recommend them.
