Malawi in Style: Itinerary
DAY 1: Explore the tea Gardens.
We’ll collect you from Blantyre airport and drive out to Huntingdon House in the heart of the tea-growing area (45 minutes). This will be home for the next two nights. Optional activities include mountain biking, hiking, tea tasting, guided bird walk.
Overnight Huntingdon House
DAY 2: Explore Huntingdon House
Spend the day exploring this beautiful area: search for the rare Thyolo Alethe and have a picnic overlooking the Shire Valley. DAY 3: Majete National Park
Drive across the Shire Highlands and head southwest to Majete Game Reserve. You will be staying at the luxurious Mkulumadzi Lodge for the next 2 nights. Optional activities: game drives, boat safari, bush walks, hiking

DAY 4: Explore Majete National Park
Majete is a rare conservation success story. Regularly viewed mammals in the park include elephant, black rhino, buffalo, eland, zebra, sable, Nyala, bushbuck, kudu, Lichtenstein’s hartebeest, waterbuck, impala, suni, grysbok, klipspringer, yellow baboon, Vervet monkey, thick-tailed bush baby, bush pig, warthog, dwarf mongoose, porcupine and others. Predators include lion, spotted hyena, leopard, serval, genet and civet.

Overnight Mkulumadzi
DAY 5: Lake Malawi
Depart from Mkulumadzi and head towards the southern shore of Lake Malawi and the fabulous Pumulani Lodge.
Optional activities include kayaking, snorkelling, village walks.

DAY 6: Pumulani, exploring Lake Malawi
David Livingstone famously named Lake Malawi “The Lake Of Stars” and for good reason, during the day the light dances across the deep blue water. When the sun has set the stars twinkle brightly both in the sky and on the lake as the fishermen light up their hurricane lamps for their night’s fishing. Guests can relax on the white sandy beach, do as many activities as they wish or simply enjoy an elevated view of the lake from the stylish infinity pool.

Overnight Pumulani
DAY 7: Return to Lilongwe
Early this morning after breakfast, depart from Pumulani and drive to Kamuzu International Airport arriving in time to check-in for your homeward flight, or onward travel.
