Tailor made trips and tours in Swaziland

Swaziland

Swaziland is like an island without a coast: it’s entirely surrounded by South Africa on three sides (north, south and west) and Mozambique to the east – an independent country. It’s one of Africa’s last three Kingdoms (the other two are Lesotho and Morocco). King Mswati III is the country’s ruler and has caused some degree of notoriety because on the one hand he’s an old boy of Sherborne Public School in Dorset, yet he has 15 wives: an intriguing blend of cultures! He rules the country in close liaison with his mother who goes by the wonderful title “Great She-Elephant". Beginning to get the picture?! Swaziland is unusual and full of the unexpected. It’s also one of Africa’s safest destinations, an ideal destination for travellers.

Swaziland seasons

This is the southern hemisphere, so Swazi weather is opposite the UK’s and January is mid-summer. Rain falls mostly during the summer months, often in the form of thunderstorms, and winter is the dry season.
