Tailor made trips and tours in Tanzania & Zanzibar

Tanzania

Serengeti, Kilimanjaro, Zanzibar. Three iconic names and all close together in one country! Any one of these three is a “milestone holiday” and with a bit of planning you can combine them to make an absolute dream holiday.

Climbing Kili is the realisation of a lifetime’s ambition for many people: seeing the migration of the wildebeest in Serengeti is the original blue-chip safari moment. And to round off with a spell on Zanzibar: that’s as good as it gets.

There is no such thing as a standard trip to Tanzania, each and every itinerary that we do (and Tanzania is probably our most popular destination) is tweaked and tuned. To get you started, here are some suggestions.

Zanzibar

Zanzibar is not the most accessible place but it’s distinctly African: pristine, passionate and a modest slice of paradise.

Zanzibar is without doubt the number one beach location in Africa, if not the world. It’s one of those names that is on everyone’s Bucket List, along with the Galapagos, Machu Picchu and Victoria Falls. It’s a must. And Zanzibar delivers; it’s an absolutely fantastic destination with white-sand beaches, fertile spice plantations, an incredible history and a fascinating culture.

An itinerary idea is below but don't worry if you can't find what you're looking for....we specialise in bespoke itineraries so send us an email or give us a call on 01837 559 07 and let VentureCo create your perfect adventure.

Gorillas, Beaches and Lions (17 days)

To demonstrate what this part of the world has to offer, I have put the following itinerary together. It includes a couple of lodges that are simply stunning; in fact, if you spent the rest of your life travelling, one of these lodges would always remain in the top three of your “Best ever places I’ve stayed” list.

The highest mountain in Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro is an inactive volcano in North Eastern Tanzania. Often called “The most beautiful mountain on earth” you will never forget your first trek to Kili: steamy forest, heather uplands, barren upper slopes and the snowy summit - 4 seasons in one week.
