The Ruwenzori Sculpture Foundation
Craftsmen are rare people and touched by the hand of god; they are able to create things that we mere mortals can only wonder at. This Foundation is one of Uganda’s Hidden Gems and is well worth spending an hour or two exploring. It’s close to the Impenetrable Forest where the Mountain Gorillas live; if your safari itinerary includes both Murchison Falls and Queen Elizabeth national parks, you travel right past the Foundation. Highly recommended.
