India
This area of the world is quite unlike any other: it’s an extraordinary kaleidoscope; a cacophony of sound, scents and colour.
Sailing Kerala’s lazy backwaters by houseboat, thundering across Mongolia on horseback, trekking amongst the world's highest peaks or exploring India by train with our reliable Sheik Nazir...Asia is a continent of mythical proportions, packed with tantalising journeys.
Whether you sign up for a bite sized India with one of our tours from the capital, Delhi, or an epic adventure such as horse riding through Rajasthan, we can guide you through the cultural melting pot that is Asia.
If you’re thinking of trekking, David’s your man. His Asia experience began when he led an overland expedition from London to Kathmandu in 1985. Since then he has visited the continent and sub-continent many times, trekking many famous and not-so-famous routes in the Himalayas of Nepal, including Everest Base Camp, the Annapurna Sanctuary and along the Kathmandu Valley. He’s travelled to Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, China and Vietnam and more recently re-visited India to set up the Book Bus India Project.
Or talk to Mark about trekking to the top of Mount Kinabalu on Sabah, Borneo’s highest peak, and savouring the Hill Stations and tea gardens of India.
