Jun 2013Cheers to the volunteers

As well as being a key cog in the wheel at Venture Co, David is Chairman and Trustee of the Book Bus, an organisation very close to our hearts. This week is National Volunteers Week and Dave and the Book Bus team have put together a few forwards about the importance of volunteers in making the Book Bus child literacy programme the success it is. They couldn’t do it without you, so THANKS!
This week (1st – 7th June) is national Volunteers’ Week and during this time we’d like to thank each and every one of our Book Bus Buddies, donors, sponsors, supporters and volunteers. Without you, the work of the Book Bus would simply not be possible. So, look out for messages of thanks across our social media pages this week – from posts on Facebook and tweets on Twitter, to a Pinterest board dedicated you thanking you, our cherished volunteers. Please do join in the conversation with us, over email or social media, letting us know about the reasons why you choose to support the Book Bus, about your experiences on board one of our buses, about your fundraising or other experiences you’ve had with us. You never know, you might just see your message posted online by way of thanks!
Thank you for all of your efforts and continued support, it means the world to us and we couldn’t have done all we have to this day without you. Equally, we can’t continue along our mission without you either, so please carry on spreading the good word about the Book Bus wherever you go and help us to improve children’s lives, one book at a time.
Thank you!
