The Ecuador climate consists of three zones:
i. It’s spring-like most of the year in Quito and the central highlands. The dry months are between July and October when the temperature averages 20°C during the day and 8°C in the evenings.
ii. On the Pacific coast the average temperature is 32°C. January to April is the hot season, with a little rain and May to December the dry season.
iii. In the Amazon jungle the weather is tropical year round with average temperatures of 31°C. It rains here most of the year but more so from June to November when the jungle is at its best and the rivers easiest to navigate.
